Residential Program
One of the main focuses of Special Delivery is our transitional housing program. Through our residential home in Woodinville, WA, we can provide housing for up to six women at a time to help meet the immediate needs of women facing an unplanned pregnancy. While in our residential program, women are expected to abide by the house rules and to participate in a schedule that includes sharing the responsibilities of maintaining the home, daily devotions, weekly Bible studies, church attendance, and classes. These classes address their needs and the needs of their baby as well as teach them the life skills necessary to function successfully once they leave Special Delivery. Current classes cover pregnancy, infant care, nutrition, money management, boundaries, job skills and healthy relationships.
Qualifying factors for residential housing:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Currently pregnant and have made a commitment not to abort their pregnancy
- No children currently residing with her
- Free of drug and/or alcohol dependency
- Willing to abide by House Guidelines
If you are interested in housing, please call 425-485-3582 for a phone interview. If you meet the housing qualifications, you will be given a date for an onsite interview to review the housing guidelines and tour the home. After the interview and acceptance into the residency program, there is a 24 hour waiting period before a new resident is allowed to move into the home.
Once accepted into the residency program, you must provide proof of pregnancy from a physician or health department, provide a current driver's licence or other identification, and sign the housing guidelines
