Michelle Rasciner
Director of Special Delivery

Michelle became the Director of Special Delivery in July 2006. However, she has been involved with this ministry for almost nineteen years.  Michelle came to Special Delivery as a client in the summer of 1989. As a result of the life transforming support and encouragement she received through the ministry, she knew that the Lord was leading her to give back. Over the years, she has been a volunteer leading the single moms support group, has been employed as the House Manager, Administrative Assistant, and is now the full-time Director. She considers it a blessing to pour into the lives of women who perhaps feel the hopelessness that she once experienced. She knows the Lord has blessed her with a wonderful daughter and the message of hope redeemed through what the enemy meant for harm.

Crystal Voorheis
Administrative Assistant

Crystal joined Special Delivery as an intern during her last year of school at Northwest University in September 2006. She chose Special Delivery because of her heart was to minister to young, hurting women. Towards the end of her internship, she felt God was leading her to continue at Special Delivery. In August 2007, God opened the door for her to become the Administrative Assistant.  As she continues to minister and counsel with the women who come to Special Delivery, she is amazed at all of the wonderful ways in which God chooses to use her to point them to Christ.

Ruth Felix
On Site House Manager

Ruth has served as the House Manager since 2004. She continues to feel humbled to have been called to the front lines in the “battle for life”. The Lord has given her such a burden for the souls of these women and she senses the “battle” growing stronger every day.  She says, “We can give them food and shelter but if we don’t introduce them to the One who can change their lives then we have not succeeded in what the Lord has called us to do.”

Ruth’s hope and prayer is they will come to know the God who is love and hear their Father rejoice over them with singing.

Pastor Drew Chukitus
his wife, Robin and
son, Ian

Drew is currently the Pastor of the Care and Support Ministry at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA.

“I find it amazing how so many times God brings us full circle. After years of infertility, my wife Robin and I visited Special Delivery in 1995 and met then-director Nellie Harris for the first time. The events of that day that eventually led to the adoption of our son, Ian, would seem chance to most people; but to those of us who know Him, we can see it was a Divine appointment. Having the opportunity to become part of the family at Special Delivery to minister to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy who have wisely chosen life over abortion is truly a privilege.”
